ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A huge swath of land in south Downtown Atlanta is now under new ownership.

In mid-December, Atlanta Ventures, led by Jon Birdsong and David Cummings, brought a 14.9-acre, 53-building portfolio from German-based developer Newport.

On Tuesday, Birdsong led a group of roughly 100 people through the 10-block development, outlining his vision for the future of South Downtown.
