As we move into this new season, we, at Engel & Völkers Atlanta, are excited that new moves are being made around Atlanta, especially in Midtown. With a few projects on the horizon, we wanted to give you the inside scoop.
Rockefeller Group’s 60-story 1072 West Peachtree, a mix of offices and apartments proposed that would be among the tallest in Atlanta in decades. The skyline-altering Midtown tower proposal appears to be moving forward, and is said to feature 350 market-rate apartments and 212,000 square feet of office space, designed by TVS Design and Brock Hudgins. At the base, roughly 6,600 square feet of retail is planned, along with an eight-story parking deck with 850 spaces that would be fully screened with translucent glass.
This isn’t the only eye-catcher making headway in Midtown. Just two blocks away, Stratus Midtown by Trammell Crow Company showcases a full two-block-wide and 30-story-tall sky sculpture.

Passers-by will experience nearly 10,000 square feet of retail space and small restaurant space, as well as 464,000 square feet of additional office space along Peachtree Place, according to Atlanta Urbanize.

Additional green spaces, art installations, and a pedestrian plaza are said to be included in the development plans to further beautify the streetscape surrounding.
