Google, Blackstone Make Major Commitments to Large Atlanta Mixed-Use Project

Two U.S. business giants, Google and Blackstone, have committed to play major roles in an Atlanta mixed-use development that includes the largest single tower under construction in the city since the Great Recession.
Search engine behemoth Google will lease a major portion of the office development at 1105 West Peachtree in the heart of midtown Atlanta. Google is expanding its Atlanta operations as part of the company’s “deepened commitment to the region,” according to a statement from the tech firm. CoStar data shows that Google currently occupies about 67,000 square feet at 10 10th St., about one-third of a mile from the 1105 West Peachtree development.
