EV Year in Review

by EV Atlanta

While this year has proven to be anything but ordinary, Engel & Völkers Atlanta contributes to the aberrance with remarkable success and unparalleled growth in 2020; as we worked through unforeseen circumstances this year, we were able to exponentially increase our performance with the support of our reliable resources, strong, global brand, and innovatory marketing.

Most notably this year, the success and growth of our company is considerable. Engel and Völkers Atlanta is number one for sales volume growth, boasting nearly a 45% increase with 930 homes sold and a 43% increase year over year from 2019-2020. Comparatively, we have grown more in transactions than our largest competitors, and with a substantially smaller agent count.

As Shakespeare famously said, “though she be but little, she is fierce.” These words reign true for the achievements of our brokerage this year as Engel and Völkers Atlanta is number one for Individuals by Volume in Georgia and has since acquired 3 Engel & Völkers brokerages.

Following the acquisitions in the first quarter of 2020, Engel & Völkers Atlanta has continued its ascending trajectory with the addition of over 40 new advisors, including The Robinson Group, led by Lisa Robinson, who represented the buyer in Atlanta’s highest sale this year: a 35,000-square-foot French Provincial-style mansion that sold for $15 million. In reference to the breaking of records, Engel & Völkers Atlanta currently holds the highest-priced listing sale in Atlanta this year for the one and only Waldorf Astoria Penthouse, exclusively listed by Sam Morgan and Christa Huffstickler and offered at $13,950,000. And, momentously, our One Museum Place listing that is offered at $2,795,000.

Engel & Völkers Atlanta also expanded its developer services resume with the addition of several new communities including  Elle at Oakhurst, three prominent Monte Hewett collections: Madison Yards, Plateau West and Oak Crossing and five of JW Collections signature projects, Enclave on Collier, Enclave at Dunwoody Park, Heritage on Memorial, Paces View and Abbington at Wildwood. And, this year, we closed out the communities of Chastain East and Folia Old Milton.

Engel & Völkers Atlanta has consistently been recognized for its many achievements; as it stands, we are the youngest firm to reach #3 shop for GCI in North America. As we close out this year, we want to give a special recognition to our top performers who have exceeded the year’s expectation yet again. As we continue to set a new and never-before-seen standard in the world of real estate, it is evident that Engel & Völkers Atlanta is on the fast track to peerless success in 2021.
