Boasting with trails, woods and mountains alike, outdoor lovers will enjoy all Atlanta provides in beautiful nature surroundings. There are several amazing places to hike and take in the outdoors without heading too far outside the city.
Visit the Atlanta Botanical Garden

The Atlanta Botanical Garden is a breathtaking oasis of nature located adjacent to Piedmont Park in Midtown featuring more than 30 acres of lush green garden just waiting to be explored. And with new safety measures in place, visitors are able to enjoy every corner of the magical grounds freely Tuesday through Sunday from 9-9 PM.
Now through November 1st enjoy the Alice’s Wonderland Reimagined! Venture down the rabbit hole with breathtaking new sculptures of the Red Queen and Alice herself. Learn more, here.
Explore the High Museum
With a new system of timed tickets and face masks being required, The High Museum has taken a wide arrange of measures so visitors can enjoy every inch on the museum safely while still offering many amazing virtual activities you can do at home.
Enjoy their many great exhibits including the Murmuration. Inspired by Atlanta’s reputation as the “city in a forest” and by the High’s proximity to the city’s abundant greenspace Piedmont Park, SO – IL has designed a 2,350-square-foot mesh canopy that evokes the environment of neighboring trees.

See a Drive-In Movie
The Starlight Drive-In has been around for over 60 years, and now more than ever, we are excited it’s still around. With extra precautions in place (even though you’ll be in your car for most of the visit) you are sure to have a jolly-old time watching the latest movie while staying safe inside your vehicle.
