Holiday pop ups are always a must this time of year. If you have friends or family visiting this season or you’re simply craving some holiday spirit, then we suggest checking out one of the many bars and lounges that will be featuring Christmas cocktails and festive décor around the Atlanta area. With the many bars joining in on this exciting trend this year, we’ve compiled a list with a few of our favorites. Whether you’ve been naughty or nice this year, one of these Holiday Bars have something for you to sip on.

1.The North Pole

The Grove Terrace, located at Colony Square in Midtown, has transformed into The North Pole. They’ve decorated their interiors to resemble a winter wonderland set within a festive igloo overlooking The Grove at Colony Square + the magically decorated Midtown. Step into this holiday speakeasy to enjoy festive cocktails provided by Establishment and more.

2.The Blind Pig Parlour Bar – The Blind Elf

The Blind Pig Parlour has transformed their space, yet again, into a Christmas themed wonderland featuring festive cocktails and delicious bites. You can find this bar in Buckhead.  We recommend you try the Ski Lift, a warm bourbon hot chocolate, and the Cheesey Fondue.

3.The Blitzen Room at Biltong Bar

Biltong Bar, located in Ponce City Market, is already featuring a wide variety of seasonally themed cocktails, beer, and food. The restaurant is decked out in swanky vintage Christmas décor and is the perfect Instagram photo opportunity. We highly recommend you add them to your list and try the Elf On The Shelf cocktail.

4.Mingle and Jingle at Best End Brewing

Nestled in the Flamingo Room at Best End Brewing Company, you can find the only pop-up in the West End of Atlanta. The abundance of décor and Christmas lights will have you in awe. Stop by with friends and family for a holiday experience to remember. Their cocktail menu is peppered with delightfully named drinks like the “School of Hard Nog” and “Santa Sleigh Bomb.” Here, you’ll find everything you need to make the holidays a little less stressful.

5.Church Street Vacation at The Third Door

Next up on our list is The Third Door which is located in Marietta Square. This will be their third consecutive year transforming into the Church Street Vacation in December — a holiday pop-up that’s themed after National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. At this quaint pop-up, you’ll find delicious festive cocktails like the “I Don’t Know Margo!” a vodka gimlet made with candy cane cordial and the “Little Full, Lotta Sap” a hot toddy featuring blended scotch, lemon, honey and pine.

6.Holiday Social Bar on the Roof at Ponce City Market

The jolliest time awaits you at the rooftop of Ponce City Market where the highly sought-after whimsical winter wonderland is located. Just inside the tower lobby you’ll find Holiday Social Bar bursting in magical décor and over-the-top experiences for you and friends to enjoy this season. The holiday-inspired drinks will be sure to get you in the holiday spirit as fast as you can say “Happy Holidays!”
