$32,000 Raised For Our Charity of Choice
Engel & Völkers is a proud partner of the Special Olympics. As the first cause-marketing sponsor of the organization’s Play Unified, a global youth campaign, it is our mission to foster a more inclusive world for today’s youths. When Play Unified was launched, it was intended to both inspire and mobilize young people around the world to foster sincere connections to people that have intellectual disabilities. With the goal to create more embracing communities, Play Unified will lead to a more respectful world.
Engel & Völkers thoughtfully selected Special Olympics as the North American charity of choice because of the congruence in brand values. With passion and competence, we utilize the outstanding brand awareness and reputation of Engel & Völkers to represent the Special Olympics on national and local levels.
Just last month, the Engel & Völkers Atlanta team participated in the annual Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Georgia. After a long, hard effort, Engel & Völkers Atlanta surpassed the defending champions, the Knights of Columbus, in the team fundraising category and raised $32,000. With our fearless leaders, Ken Covers and Scott Askew in the number one and two spots for top fundraising individuals, this event collected a tremendous $175,000. Our team of courageous advisors took the plunge into Lake Allatoona’s 30 degree water on a cold Saturday morning in February in fellowship with the Special Olympics Georgia cause.
Being a part of such a special organization is an honor for all of us here at Engel & Völkers Atlanta. We are humbled by the support that our local community has shown us in every fundraising endeavor, and we hold this group effort in the highest regard.
